The Australian Corrections Medal (ACM) is a civil decoration introduced in June 2017 to recognize distinguished service by operational members of adult civilian corrections services in Australian states and territories. [1, 2]

Post-nominals: Recipients are entitled to use the letters ACM after their name. [1]

Frequency & Announcement: Awarded twice a year—announced on Australia Day and the King's Birthday. [1]

Allocation: Distributed at a rate of one medal per 1,000 full-time equivalent (FTE) members in each jurisdiction, plus one additional medal for jurisdictions exceeding 1,000 FTEs. [1]

Design: A circular nickel-silver medal featuring the Federation Star with the scales of justice, surrounded by a wreath of Australian wattle. It is worn on a 32 mm ribbon of blue flanked by white and mustard green stripes. [1, 2]
